BIRMINGHAM THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY
SUMMER SEMESTER 2008
June 2 - August 29, 2008
ADD/DROP PERIOD ENDS June 13, 2008

The following booklist is provided as a guide to help students purchase their books before classes begin. By clicking on the title of each book, a new browser window will open allowing you to purchase the book online. Buying books online is a way to save considerable money. Click the title of the book and the link will open a new broswer window to Amazon.com. Amazon offers new and used books and usually has the lowest prices. They also offer free shipping on orders of $25 or more. You may also purchase books from the Briarwood Bookstore online (click here). Both are trusted sites; however, if you are not comfortable buying online, you may contact your local bookstore or the Briarwood Bookstore to order the books you need.

*The book list will be updated as professors provide their list of books to us. If you do not see the books listed for a class you plan on taking, check back. This booklist was last updated May 13, 2008 0:03 AM

The standard for research papers for the Birmingham Theological Seminary is Turabian. It is recommended that all students purchase a copy of A Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, and Dissertations.

Another helpful book for BTS students, and one that is highly recommended, is Quality Research Papers for Students of Religion and Theology. This resource provides guidance regarding some of the peculiarities within the theological writing genre.
