Ministry
The Master of Arts in Ministry degree is primarily designed to provide
comprehensive training for individuals who either minister or plan
to minister in the larger Christian community. The Master of Arts in
Ministry degree offers theological education, which is culturally relevant
and seeks to provide professional competence and educational recognition.
This degree has five possible tracks: Pastoral Leadership, Christian
Education, Missions, Urban Missions, and Biblical Counseling. The Pastoral
Leadership track, in accordance with the historical theological position
held by the mainstream of evangelical churches, is limited to male
students preparing for ordination. (Refer to “The Role of Women
in the Church a Rationale for the BTS Position)
