The biblical strategy for dealing with spiritual strongholds is developed.
The principles learned are applied by the students in his/her personal

MS6534 THE CHARACTER OF A MISSIONARY
A through examination of biblical passages regarding the requirements
of a spiritual leader. The character and perspectives of the apostle
Paul are studied in detail. A grid is developed for personal evaluation
and used in outlining a personal character development plan. REQUIRED

MS6535 WORLD RELIGIONS AND CULTS
A study of the basic features of animistic societies. Among others, witchcraft,
rituals, magic, ancestor worship and dynamism are considered in relation
to planting of indigenous churches. A study and evaluation of the major world
religions and pseudo-Christian cults, including Judaism, Islam, Hinduism,
Buddhism, Roman Catholicism, Latter Day Saints, Jehovah’s Witnesses,
the New Age Movement, and the Word-Faith Movement. REQUIRED FOR M.A.M.M.,

MS6630 LIFE AND WORK ON THE MISSION FIELD
A survey of the requirements for effective mission ministry, the servant
model, the basis for non-competitive team ministry, basic sociocultural

MS6631 BIBLICAL THEOLOGY OF MISSIONS
A study of God’s purpose and activity in seeing the Great Commission
in the Old Testament as revealed through Israel’s responsibility

A survey of the major issues in missions today, examining recruitment

A study of the methods and means of developing and structuring the

MS6800 CHURCH REVITALIZATION & MISSIONS
(Same as PT5800) A neglected part of the mission of the church is ministering
to weakening parts of the Body. Paul suggested the need to “strengthen
the churches” and that is what revitalization is all about
. . . seeing the ‘declining’ church re-enforced, re-focused,
and re-energized in obedience to biblical principles. This course
